Centre for Art and Applied Sciences - CASA

CASA – Centre for Art and Applied Sciences is an interdisciplinary platform dedicated to research, artistic production and interdisciplinary projects. CASA functions as a laboratory, an exhibition space and a framework for collaboration between artists, researchers, engineers, architects and local communities. The projects often start from field research, scientific data, observation and experiment, later transformed into installations, exhibitions and public programmes. Through initiatives such as Water_LAB and New Landscape, CASA investigates contemporary transformations of the environment and tests new forms of representation, interpretation and relating to natural systems.
