New Landscape Festival

New Landscape begins where the landscape ceases to be a backdrop and becomes the witness of a world in transformation. Water changes its courses, vegetation migrates, habitats fragment, and natural rhythms are reconfigured by the effects of climate change. Some of these mutations are already visible, others are not, from sediments and microorganisms to entire territories in imbalance. Field research and artistic production become instruments of observation and interpretation. New Landscape regards the landscape as a living, vulnerable organism that records in its own matter the current transformations of the present.
